Welcome to the Earthworks pottery web site! We are a studio and gallery located in Vinton, Virginia. We offer classes for adults and children as well as pottery sales.  

For those interested in exploring the joy of working with clay we offer instruction for adults and children. Topics covered include hand building, slab construction, the potter’s wheel and using glaze. The facility is on the second floor of a building in the downtown area of Vinton. We have 8 Brent B wheels, an extruder, a slab roller as well as the usual assortment of tables, shelves and tools. There about 15 lead free glazes that are formulated in the studio.  

If you would like to purchase any of our products the gallery has a variety of ware for the table and home decoration. The work is functional, unique and attractive. We emphasize safety and our glazes do not contain lead, cadmium or barium.
